Meet Jackie Sainsbury (d.b.a. CZ Equestrian, Inc.)

Jackie is our fantastic barn manager. Besides managing, she also teaches riding lessons and offers training board. Here is her bio:

“I have been enjoying and riding horses since I was six years old. My background is primarily hunter/jumper with dressage being a part of the day to day program. My focus is on the rider’s correct, effective position as well as their understanding of the proper application of the aids and how that affects your horse. As a true advocate of the horse, I ensure that the horse’s fitness level and training level is adequate for the job they are being asked to do by their rider. These main principles span all disciplines of riding which allows me to work with many types of horse-rider teams in order to improve communication and achieve results. Several clients are eventers and a couple have been endurance riders. I am also currently certified through the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) as a Level III English Instructor. CHA emphasizes safety and effective teaching principles. My overall objective is to keep riding fun and safe for both the horse and the rider while providing the education needed to reach their individual goals."
